Our goal is to make the visits to the dentist positive and enjoyable. If your child is old enough, the pediatric dentist and his staff can explain everything in relationship to the dental visit and answer any questions. We always try to avoid words that could create unnecessary fear on your child and instead we use vocabulary that is enjoyable and non-frightening for them.
We invite parents to be with their kids during the first visit, so you can give an extra positive reinforcement to your child and at the same time see us working with them. A clinical oral examination, dental cleaning and elective fluoride treatment will be performed in a pleasant and friendly way. X-rays will be taken if necessary. In case dental treatment is needed, our pediatric dentist will inform it to you, with all the options available and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each option, so you can make an informed decision.
In case you only want to show your child the dental environment without any dental exam and cleaning, please give us a call. We can introduce them to our friendly pediatric dentist and dental team and use that opportunity to collect the medical history and necessary information about your child.
